SB 105

Marie Pinkney

SB 105- 151st General Assembly

This bill authorizes pharmacists to dispense contraceptives and administer injectable contraceptives under a standing order issued by the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS). It expands access to birth control by enabling individuals to obtain pills, patches, vaginal rings, injectables, and other contraceptive medications directly from a pharmacist. The bill is intended to reduce existing barriers to contraceptive access, which disproportionately affect women of color and those with limited financial resources.
